Art in the Park

I recently took my son to Art in the Park... An outdoor arts and crafts festival at the DeCordova Museum in Lincoln, MA.
It was SO hot that day, but it was all worth it because we got to ride on a school bus that shuttled us to the fair. (Made my two-year-old's day!!) He also got to paint a t-shirt and make a butterfly out of clothespins and sequins. ;) Here's a look at the day's fun!

Get in Shape Girl...

Okay, so I bought some work-out tapes (look I said tapes...), I mean DVD's since I can't get to yoga class right now. I tried this one tonight, and let me tell you... I'm either out of shape, or completely uncoordinated. It was hilarious. I just stood there laughing while these women jumped and kicked, punched and jabbed, "now faster!" and repeated! I couldn't even keep up ;) I'm going to keep trying it though... Now its become a battle of wills (even though the women on the tape.. I mean DVD.. don't know it).


Totally unrelated... Here are some trips to jelly bean land at the Jordan's Furniture Store in Reading, and the ice cream festival in Boston..... (LOL)



Yes, those are jelly bean flowers....



I won't even talk about how many scoops of ice cream I ate... By the way, Ben & Jerry's "Imagine Whirled Peace" is DELICIOUS!!!!

Busy times...
